Red raspberry jumps out of the glass, followed by aromas of toasted hazelnut from the Chilean terroir and subtle wild mushroom undertones. Dark plum and ripe, fresh cranberry flavors are smooth and intertwined with hints of caramel and nutmeg, nuances contributed by short-term aging on both French and Oregon oak. Medium-bodied overall, the rich mouthfeel is balanced by light, integrated acidity and light tannins. With a hint of mocha and tart cherry on the finish, this international value wine has the structure and balance to effortlessly pair with foods or be enjoyed on its own.
